Dear authors, reviewers, editors and readers of our journal, it is my pleasure to welcome you all to this platform where I serve as the Editor in Chief. My vision is to nurture our young journal to an enviable status and ensure it is ranked as one of the best scholarly publications in the field in which our journal’s aim and scope covers. It is ourduty to work together to achieve the set goals and maintain the scope of the journal.

I am very much aware of the tasks and responsibilities of an Editor-in-Chief and I promise all stakeholders that I will carry out my roles diligently and with candour. I will always perform my duties, along with other editorial members, with utmost academic integrity and broader comprehension of research methods and hard work.

With our journal securing the right footing in the commencement of this service to humanity and the world at large, we will ensure that the journal continues to evolve with tremendous opportunities and advantage for all stakeholders. I am open to radical changes and entrenchment of ethical practices under my leadership as we sojourn in the world of publications and dissemination of vital information.

Our journal shall continue to accept manuscripts for the purpose of publishing high quality research and reviews within its scope. The bulk of our journal content shall remain original research articles with high standard systematic double blinded peer reviews.

I and my editorial team shall encourage all authors to adopt ethical standards that can easily be replicated globally when carrying out their works. This is important to us for the fact that conclusions made from the studies we publish are expected to be reliable and valid.

Like I stated earlier, double blind peer review remains an important part of the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.  However, if criticisms of our peer review process emanates at any point, we will deploy our active and proficient editorial office to manage it swiftly. With this mechanism in place, we have no doubt that the outcome benefits will outweigh the challenges.

To our dear authors, it has been proven that manuscripts that undergo peer reviews are often improved when reviewers’ comments, observations and criticisms are well taken and corrections effected at the right places. Moreover, this unbiased appraisal also helps to get the trust of all our readers. Hence, we encourage our authors to take the review process seriously and appreciate its extent and quality.

To our readers, our editorials and commentaries will continue to play an important role in ensuring every avenue is considered in resolving contentious issues in a manner that is devoid of bias.

It is vital that our journal continues to have a good balance of article types that fall within the journal’s scope. Working along with the publisher, we will encourage publication of high-quality articles that will be widely read and acceptable in a bid to boost the impact factor of the journal from increased citation. The journal articles are 100% electronic which makes the dissemination faster to a wider international access. The publisher had made arrangements to get the published articles indexed with some renowned article repository bodies worldwide and this will increase the visibility of the articles.

I am very much delighted with the support that has been made available by the tremendous and effective editorial team and members of the editorial office who continue to pull this project together. This journal also enjoys the backing of reputable experts on our editorial advisory board. Each of these individuals is a force to reckon with as far as the scope of this journal is concerned and it is a great privilege to have them as ambassadors and face of our journal.

Finally I want to appreciate all authors that have chosen to submit their manuscripts here. You have toiled to bring your work to fruition and it is our desire that  you continue to excel in your endeavors.
